The Frieze Library: Volume One

Frieze is pleased to present “The Frieze Library: Volume One” conceived and organized by Gordon Robichaux, NY.

Each exhibitor was invited to submit one art publication for review and inclusion. The curated selection of printed material is presented on a bookshelf within the publication section of the fair.

At the conclusion of the fair, the Frieze Library will be donated to the
Thomas J. Watson Library, the research library of The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Watson Library has a collection of more than one million volumes and is open to researchers six days a week. This collection of publications will be a reflection of the current moment as seen through the eyes of artists and art world professionals alike, and subsequently will function as an archive. A bibliography with a full list of titles is available online and at the fair.
